Annual Voice Arts® Awards Competition

 (VOXtra) - Nominees in a growing field of award categories have been announced for the 2016 Voice Arts® Awards Competition, the international competition sponsored by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS) showcasing the best works in voice over, audiobooks and related creative realms.
Dubbed by Good Morning America as "the Oscars of voice acting," the competition recognizes "the talent and artistry of today's best-in-class voice over stars and celebrities whose names and faces are often cloaked behind beloved animation characters or national brands," SOVAS notes.
SOVAS adds it "is thrilled to bring these more recognized names together with the equally talented nominees who are primarily voice actors, and whose voices are often far more recognizable than their names."
The winners in each award category will be announced and celebrated at the 3rd Annual Voice Arts® Awards ceremony on Sunday, November 13, at the Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank, CA, beginning at 5 p.m. This follows a full previous day at the Warner Brothers Studio where SOVAS presents its annual That's Voiceover Career Expo.
The awards ceremony will also feature additional presentations, including the first annual Muhammad Ali Voice of Humanity Honor, the Voice Arts® Icon Award to legendary boxing announcer Michael "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" Buffer, and the Backstage Vanguard Award for Agenting and Business Leadership.
